Our History

Ten Rainbows Children’s Foundation originated with a group of friends who shared a common desire to help children in need. Early fundraising efforts included organizing social events for friends and work colleagues, and various other activities such as residential moves and Spring yard clean-up for friends, relatives and workplace associates, from which the modest proceeds were then donated to various child focused community agencies such as the Children’s Aid Society.
As the frequency and scope of our activities expanded and the monetary proceeds grew, we came to realize the potential to do more and so, in 1993, Ten Rainbows Children’s Foundation was formally incorporated and registered with the Canadian Government as a bona fide not for profit charity.
Over the years we have developed relationships with many of the local social agencies who have become valuable referral sources for families and children in need.
